ABOUT ANN:

As the owner of Senior Transition Services CT, Ann is fully committed to helping seniors live in their home for as long as they are able while supporting their families in the process.

A fourth generation resident of the Farmington Valley, Ann grew up in Avon, CT, and is a graduate of Avon High School. She earned a B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture at Iowa State University before moving back to Avon in 1985, where she assumed the position of Property Manager of Old Avon Village. Over time, Ann became a Managing Partner of OAVX Associates, LLC, the family owned business that managed Old Avon Village.

As Ann’s mother and father began to face some of the challenges of aging, Ann and her husband Phil worked to modify their own home so that Ann’s parents could comfortably live there during their final years. Ann’s Property and Contractor Management expertise were invaluable during this transition process. Even more essential was the support system she built together with her four sisters, extended family, and local community. From this experience with her parents, Ann began to realize her passion for helping seniors stay in their homes for as long as they are able.

To add another dimension to her skill set, Ann became a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) in 2011.  She has previously held Real Estate license in 2019 and was a real estate agent for several years with William Ravies.

She founded Senior Transition Services CT, LLC in 2013 and has since helped many overwhelmed seniors and their families find what’s right for them.
